Arrival in the Bucharest airport and welcome from the experienced Tour Guide, who will be your helpful host for the duration of your stay in Romania. Sightseeing tour of Bucharest, a city formerly known as the Little Paris, with a chance to admire its wide boulevards, the glorious Bell Époque buildings, the Arch of Triumph, Romanian Athenaeum, Revolution and University Squares, as well as a visit to the Village Museum. Traditional dinner in a restaurant in Bucharest. Accommodation in Golden Tulip Hotel**** or similar in Bucharest.
2nd day - Saturday: BUCHAREST - BRASOV - SINAIA
After breakfast in the hotel, departure to Bran, a visit to Bran Castle, originally built by the Teutonic knights as “Dietrich stein”, also known as Dracula’s castle. Lunch on the way in a typical Transylvanian restaurant. Arrival in Brasov, one of the most fascinating medieval towns in Romania, sightseeing tour, visiting the mediaeval city, one of the seventh founded by the Saxons in Transylvania in the 13th century, with its old Council Square, the Black Church (said to be the largest worship place in Eastern Europe), the remaining fortifications and also the ancient Roman quarter of Schei with the Orthodox Cathedral of Saint Nicholas (15th century) and the museum of the first Romanian school. Departure to Sinaia, also known as “The Pearl of the Carpathians”, visit of the Peles Castle, which was built at the end of 19th century and is known as the former summer residence of the Royal Family of Romania, where the visitor can admire a large number of statues, vases, fountains, mosaics and other art exhibits. Accommodation in the 4**** New Montana Hotel or similar in Sinaia. Typical dinner in the restaurant Vanatorul (the Hunter) in Sinaia.
3rd day - Sunday: SINAIA - BUCHAREST - DEPARTURE
After breakfast in the hotel. Transfer at the airport. Departure.
